We Want To Buy A Web Site

We want to buy a web site, but it has to meet certain requirements. If you have a site that fits our criteria, and you want to sell it, contact us.

What Do we Want In A Web Site?

1. It should be at least a year old. We might consider newer sites if they have decent traffic.

2. Natural traffic - not just pay-per-click traffic. Whether from search engines or from incoming links from other web sites, there should be some traffic that isn't paid for.

3. Google PageRank of at least one (this is Google's trademarked ranking system. If you are not sure if you have PageRank, we can check).

4. An informational site with good content. At least a dozen pages, although traffic count is more important than the amount of content.

5. Revenue from advertising and affiliate programs only (no products to ship). We never sell anything we can't deliver online, and don't want to start.

6. A theme related to that of our other sites. Subjects related to brainpower, real estate or backpacking are preferred, but as long as there is some connection to one of our other sites, we'll consider it. The home page has a complete list of our web sites, with a short description of each.

How Much Will We Pay For A Website?

The price will have to be determined by the type of site, the theme, and the traffic count. In general, though, We are likely to pay one dollar for each unique visitor per month. For example, if you have a web site on wilderness survival that gets 2,000 visitors per month, we would probably be willing to pay at least $2,000.
